The camera opens on Pee-Dee perched on top of a slab of metal held up by two metal boxes. Visible between her legs is another metal box behind the desk she's sitting on.
"Junkions! I'm a Junkion. We come from the planet Junk, which is the most amazing and best floating scrapyard in our arm of the galaxy. All the best stuff winds up there, and we're in the best reception point for broadcast waves. We can get stuff from all over the galaxy!
"We prefer to tune into Earth, though. It's got all kinds of shows and programs, not like most other planets out there. Also, it's minimal on the propaganda, which makes it much more pleasant to watch.
"We speak English usually with lots of metaphors in it. It's called 'talking tv'. I'm told it's kind of hard to understand if you're not up on Earth pop-culture." She shrugs. "Different people talk tv to different degrees, and it's not always noticeable how much they're talking it. People who're really into a specific genre tend to use a lot of genre-specific jargon, so most of us have a pretty broad base of television knowledge so we can translate other people's metaphors properly."
She snaps her fingers as if to jog her memory. "Most of us are motorcycles, because motorcycles are agile and easy to repair. We're almost all done up in colors that blend in well with the junk, like me. We don't wear symbols. Um. Not really much else to say."
Someone reminds her of something off-screen.
"Oh, yeah, we break really easily. Primarily at the joints because those are the easiest places to fix. It's pretty easy to tear someone's limb off then put it back on. I've heard some of you guys commenting that that's a neat trick and you wish you were built like that. Gotta tell you, don't say that on Junk. Some of the guys will happily 'xplain to you that you Autobots are built to come apart at the limbs and even demonstrate it. Then I have to chase them down and beat them, and no one likes that. Well, Scrap-Kip really does, which is one of the reasons I don't."
She nods decisively and hops down off the desk. Very shortly after that, the camera goes dark.
