Voice-only report. Command (and Mayhem) access only, at Needlenose's ability to lock files (Average).
"Runamuck is from one of those realities that seem to look like mine on the surface, which means it also looks a lot like, say, Starscream's, or maybe even Shockwave's. It's got plenty of differences, and I'll get into them later, but for any of you that have a Runamuck, he's, well, a Runamuck. Violent, reckless, noisy thug who enjoys petty vandalism and digs junkyards and trash like that, which means if his reality's Slog is anything like mine, no doubt he's a fan of the guy's work, if you get my meaning. See, junk? Slog's art? Get it? Anyway, not picky about leadership, and apparently he's used to following a Starscream's orders, anyway. He was supposedly on some sort of infiltration team, but how they kept him focused on infiltrating is beyond me. Good luck on that, boss.
"He's got a standard laser rifle and a friction rifle. Something gets hit with the friction rifle, and stays still for five minutes, nothing happens. Any movement at all, though, causes an incredible amount of heat, and in some cases, can even cause the target to burst into flames or melt. He's an average level shot with it. What he's a lot better at is his driving, and he can deploy ramming plates on his sides for bashing other vehicles, or shift his armor around for shock absorption purposes. He can also access a laser rifle and rocket launchers in vehicle mode.
"But enough about him. I mean, who cares about this stuff? So we picked up another violent punk-thug. We'll probably end up with a lot of those. But his reality's pretty interesting, and one we haven't come across before.
"They don't know where they come from over there. I didn't hear any mention of any Primus, no Quintessons, no Allspark, nothing. Their Autobots used to be a peace-keeping force. An underground gladiator circuit was formed, and Megatron rose to power there. They get rounded up and tossed in jail, then they break free and take over Kaon and start wearing Megatron's personal symbol as the Decepticon badge. Not sure about the 'Prime' title exactly - didn't hear a mention of a Matrix or anything - but his Sentinel Prime was around after the start of the war, but eventually fell and Optimus came to power.
"Thunderwing, who is, get this! A scientist!" There is a pause in the voice narration, perhaps as Needlenose remembers that they have a scientist Starscream, of all things, "Anyway, Thunderwing the scientist started figuring out the war was messing up Cybertron itself, so he tried to invent the Pretender process, only, unlike my reality, he screwed it up big time, went mad, got extremely powerful, and had to be put down by the combined forces of the Autobots and the Decepticons. Oh, and they rendered their Cybertron completely uninhabitable in the meantime. Really. Over a failed attempt at a Pretender shell. Tough luck, huh?
"Both factions left the planet, and Megatron started this six-stage infiltration plan for conquering and stripping worlds. They sneak on the target planet, replace key government officials with cloned facsimiles, use the clones to escalate any existing conflicts to the point where the native species blows itself up. So sounds like their Megs may be a wee bit more successfu- no, strike that. Way more successful than mine.
"Runamuck was part of the team infiltrating Earth, which was lead by Starscream. They discovered that Earth had some sort of super-energon on it Runamuck called 'Ore-13,' so Starscream quit the usual plans, prompting Megatron showed up to straighten him out, but apparently made a lot of judgement calls - Runamuck seems a bit, erm, uncertain about their Megatron's stability, but if that's all he is, he's doing pretty good compared with what I'm used to, let me tell you. Anyway, things escalated real quickly into some sort of insanely big battle with some interplanetary destroyers named the 'Reapers' and their Sixshot turning traitor and whatnot, and... that's all Runamuck knows, because he's here now.
"Runamuck's not a tech, so all I've got are his descriptions of the big technologies, but here we go.
"Ore-13 is some sort of enhanced energon that's four times as powerful as normal and provides a huge energy boost, but burns out wicked fast in combat. Runamuck's got no idea why it was on Earth, but says it didn't seem to be naturally occurring.
"Their facsimiles clones are what they mostly used to destroy planets, in an indirect way. They were programmed with memories and sent back into society, unaware that they were fakes until they were activated, at which point they did what the 'Cons wanted them to and then self-terminate. Don't last very long, so they'd keep the originals in storage for future samples until they didn't need them anymore. Sounds like an effective if not particularly fun way of wiping out a planet - I tend to wonder how many other groups went off-schedule out of shere boredom. Oh, yeah. Grand Decepticon conquerers. Oh, well. Whatever works, I suppose. .
"They've got teleporting technology activated from a ship or fortress, but it seemed mostly to work within a single planetary system - no galaxy spanning space-bridges. Supposedly a bit jarring, too. Their Skywarp is also a teleporter.
"Their mass-shifting is also a lot less common and effective than ours. Requires a lot of energy and can leave a damaging backlash for anyone near. Runamuck says only folks hyped up on that Ore-13 stuff or folks who have abnormally high internal power reserves, like how he described his Sixshot, can do it.
"Holomatter simulacrums sound pretty much like the same solid-hologram stuff like what we use in our solid-light room. We had those back homes. Their Autobots used them to help make their disguises more effective - heh, they've gotta be better than the stupid blow-up dolls our guys had - so it sounds like they may have managed to make the technology a bit more portable.
"Robot-mode flight seems to be fairly common in his reality, but Runamuck doesn't have it. I get the impression he's something of a turbo-chicken when it comes to heights.
"They don't have Headmasters, Targetmasters, Powermasters, Micromasters, Mastermasters, or whatever other kind of Masters you can think of. They've got one combiner. Squawkbox." Here he pauses to chuckle. "And, as I went over earlier, they managed to blow up their planet while attempting Pretender tech, so, erm, that's illegal over there.
"And that's about it."
