Rodimus mutters, //So we've got the untried diplomacy squad on either end and the Wreckers in the middle. Oh, good, there's absolutely no way this can turn into a fiasco.//
Louder, he adds, //Keep all available shuttles on standby for fast evacuation if needed. Arcee, I'm heading to the bridge - while we want to keep the Event Horizon in close enough to render aid, I think it's time we start looking for a way around that thing. Those of you on that ship, let us know if you start to feel ill or experience any unexpected malfunctions. Arcee mentioned radiation leakages. Hopefully it won't get bad enough to start affecting people, but if it does, we need to know as soon as it happens so we can get you out of there.//

// Skyfire reporting. Both Elite Guard teams have landed; I, Jetstorm and Jetfire are providing high cover and quick evac if necessary. The 'derelict' has some maneuvering capability--it appears to be following a low-performance automated evasion sequence.// I.e, the damn thing keeps twitching and jinking-- // In addition, I have some close-ups of the derelict's... decor. //
<sends a quick burst transmission of imagery from the exterior of the derelict ship, including close-ups of the dissected corpses strapped to the exterior>
// In my experience, that sort of thing is a threat display, meant to demoralize and distract. I do not expect we will find people with who we wish to open diplomatic relations aboard. It is possible there may be surviving Lithone prisoners to be rescued, though I am doubtful. //

//To keep on task, we need to get this thing out of the way, so we're going to need to find the control room, if we cannot parlay with the... owners.//
//And I'm going to recommend showers to everyone, when this is over, on general principle. If they're anti-rad showers, too? Fine by me!//

//Mayday, get up here and jack-in. The Event Horizon will have quicker reaction time with you at the wheel. And if you even think about locking any of ours out, I am jacking you out by whatever means necessary, got it?//
It's worth mentioning, especially since showers and radiation have been brought up.
Speaking of which...
//Sentinel, let's make that 'recommendation' for showers something a bit stronger. Full decom when you guys get back on board, got it? That includes your team, Springer.//

Springer chuckles. //Fiascoes are my forte, Prime.// Is that resolving them, or causing them?
Probably a bit of both.
//Gotcha on on the decom.//

Sentinel Prime would have ordered it for everyone, but he can't order bots like Springer to do anything, and while it may rankle, he respects protocol. Luckily, Rodimus makes it an order for him! Yaaaay.
However, he does corrects, //Sir, I would hardly call this a fiasco. A bit... creepy, perhaps, but all we need to do is find the... owners and politely 'convince' them to move their ship out of our path, or, failing that, find the controls and move it ourselves.//

// I'm well aware of that, Springer, // Rodimus answers, with a bit of a groan underlying his voice.
// Copy that, Sentinel. //
At this point, the possibility of removing the ship from the path by calling everyone back and blowing it the frag up has already occurred to Rodimus, but until they're sure that there's no friendlies on that ship (and while he's pretty sure the 'crew' of such a vessel wouldn't count as 'friendly', there's a chance that there's someone needing rescuing), they can't go with that option. Besides, given the way the other vessel is leaking, it's hard to be sure what would be a safe enough distance to fire from.

It's been a while since Skyfire heard anything on the Elite Guard frequency, though there's chatter on this band.
// Radio check! Sentinel, Springer, Override, please reply! Repeating on Elite Guard band. //
