For the Autobots during this mysterious plot!
Arcee's voice comes across.
//Got a ship dead in the air just ahead. Attempting contact.//
For those keeping tabs on such things, the EH is slowing down.

//Does it match anything in our ship database?//
Probably not. Space is big. Ships are varied. However, a Shi-Lai deathship is a lot more worrisome than a Skuxxoid cargo scow.

//It's working fine, Mayday.//
//No, it doesn't match anything in the database. Well, not directly anyway...hrm,// One might be able to hear the frown in her voice.
//No shielding. It's leaking radiation faster than Grampa sheds parts. Trying to get a better visual.//

//Damage, maybe?// That would account for both the leaking radiation and the lack of shielding.

//Positive on the life-signs. I-//
Arcee cuts abruptly. //Mayday, put the ship in park. Everyone else, hang tight.//
OOC: from this point, this conversation can only be heard by command figures. This includes Division heads/2iCs and Special Team heads. It will open up again shortly.
Arcee transmits an image of the ship.

// Gods! // Rodimus exclaims, shocked. // That's... // He's actually seen something like it before, save it was the bodies of his own troops nailed to the side of Metroplex.
// Anything in the scans suggesting it may be Quintessons? //

//Maybe this is just a unique Lithonian method of honouring the dead, and all that damage was, uh... post-mortem, to... uh... let the soul out? Yeah. Can't have enough soul holes.//
Sentinel Prime does not sound like he believes what he is suggesting, which neatly covers for the fact that he doesn't sound as disgusted as he should, either.

//Can we avoid them?// Some Autobots will help anyone, anytime. Emirate Xaaron is a bit more... choosey. Not every battle needs to be fought by Autobots, even if it is a worthy cause. //If not... I do believe that this situation falls under the Elite Guard's missions mandate. Pull who you can and get them ready to go, Sentinel.// Some of the Guard might be doing essential things and cannot leave because their players aren't interested or would rather take different characters to participate .

//No, it doesn't, Roddy. Er, Rodimus.//
//Be careful, Sentinel. There is definitely... something alive over there. But I can't get anything coherent on the hails.//
OOC: from this point on, this radio can be considered "public" again. Sentinel, you can create a separate radio thread for the Guard for this plot if you would like.

//I'll have them together at once, sir,// Sentinel Prime says smoothly, hiding his eagerness to finally do something and prove himself to command.
He is somewhat more hesitant in answering Springer. Having Springer and his men along means less glory for Sentinel Prime and his Guardsmen. Springer ranks Sentinel Prime, too. He'll get all the credit if this goes well.
However, since Springer ranks him, can Sentinel Prime really refuse a request from Springer? Isn't Sentinel Prime supposed to prove he can play well with others? He replies to Springer deceptively mildly, //If you think you can keep up, sir, and leave any diplomatic negotiations to us.//
