Kup is knocked away in a tumble that he turns into an intentional roll, coming up on one knee in a crouch. Rather than springing at the Dinobot, however, he attempts to take advantage of his own strength by slamming his hands into the ground, which he grabs ahold of and lifts, attempting to futher knock Grimlock off-balance. It'll be harder for the Dinobot to take advantage of his superior stength if he's not stable to begin with.
Erm. Because the last training segment was sim-room, I'm assuming this segment is sim-room, too. If it's training room, well... Long Haul or Mayday can bitch Kup out later for putting a hole in the floor. >_>

Kup is successful at staggering Grimlock, who is using his hands to brace against the shake-up.
There's a rather handy thing about the way Grimlock transforms, though - in his position, it's rather easy to change to dinobot mode. Grimlock takes this opening, and starts forward slowly, but wobbly.

Generally, when one is unarmed, getting a Dinobot to transform is bad strategy. After all, Dinobots are far more dangerous in their alternate modes than in their robot modes.
As it so happens, however, Kup had been waiting for this. As Grimlock starts towards him, he springs up from his crouched position towards the Dinobot commander, leaping over the hole he just tore in the floor as he removes one of his musket's acid globules from subspace. He attempts to smash the thing against one of Grimlock's animal-mode optics, a move that would do a fair amount of damage to his hand, but if it hits, should also half-blind Grimlock and perhaps even encourage him to stick with the mode that has two functioning eyes.
Of course, charging in like that may leave him vulnerable to a counter-attack, and Grimlock has any number available in this mode...

Grimlock starts to breath fire at Kup when he approaches, but that is cut short as he catches an eye full of acid blob and stumbles backward, roaring out in pain.
Congratulations, Kup. You've managed to piss off the Dinobot. Grimlock gets his footing, and jerks his head around as he bats at his face, trying to get the glob out. "Where you go... Me Grimlock smash you good for that!"

Kup's armor is scorched by the flames before they're shut off, the paint blasted off and the edges melted and re-solidified, but Kup deals with it. He scrambles quickly towards Grimlock's blind side and snorts. It's tempting to taunt the Dinobot, but he keeps quiet. After all, if he says anything, that'll let his opponent know where he is, which would be something of a tactical mistake!
Instead, he attempts to jump on Grimlock's back. Wrestling time! Kup's doing well, but Grimlock is a powerful opponent, and there's still a long battle to be fought, and more lessons yet to learn...
The next day
... And not all of those lessons will be learned by fighting Grimlock. Another day, another training session, and another opponent much larger, tougher, and stronger than he is, forcing him to rely on agility he doesn't really have. Still, he's fast enough to roll out of the way as Omega Supreme's claw slams into the ground.
He glances at the wrecked bit of floor and mutters, "Bit too close, there..." He'll have to be more careful!

If Dinobot was a more flippant, less stoic mech, he'd have ener-popcorn with this. Seriously, he could settle half the arguments he ever had with Terrorsaur just from training Kup. He'll have to remember to rub it in his traitorous shrieking face if he ever shows up here. After he's done beating him senseless.
"Throw your whole mass into dodging, don't just move your feet!" he snarls at the old veteran. "You can't always count on being able to take a few blows!" he reiterates for the umpteenth time.

Omega Supreme needs this as much as Kup does, maybe more. He still doesn't feel right in this new body. Maybe he never will!
That, and getting whomped by Lugnut and saved by that kid Jetfire was downright embarrassing.
Omega Supreme's head rotates around, and he targets Kup with the head gun. It's quite accurate, and if it doesn't have as much power as his arm cannon, it's not like Omega Supreme needs massive amounts of power as long as he hits the right thing.
Besides, he can still use it when he's recovering from jamming his claw hand in the floor.

"I'm old, not stup-" Kup starts, but unfortunately, even putting his whole mass into dodging, he's not fast enough to avoid the shot entirely, and it takes him in the shoulder, blasting off some of the armor and singing wires beneath as it slams him to the ground.
"Omega, did you forget this was s'pposed to be melee training?" he asks as he rolls into a kneel from which it's easier to transform. Of course, that 'melee only' rule might just apply to Kup, but Kup points it out anyway.
He drives forward at his best speed which... isn't really very fast, actually, but it still tends to hurt when he slams into someone.

Kup totally shot Grimlock with acid a scene before!
Omega Supreme wouldn't know that, though. He recovers his claw back and mumbles, "Apologies."
He turns to face the charging truck, braces himself, and scoops his arms down, trying to catch Kup by the fender and flip him up, like Superman on a jerk day.
Omega Supreme sure is sorry.

Does it count as 'shooting' when no gun is involved and the globule is slammed against the opponent by hand? Wouldn't that pretty much mean that stabbing someone with a bayonette also counts as firing the gun? Kup doesn't generally end with acid eating away at his own hand when he actually shoots the globs.
Kup's fender is caught and he is flipped backwards. He transforms in the air, but he's no acrobat, so this mostly just means he lands hard face first in robot mode instead of on his back in truck mode. It's still an improvement, though the force of the impact does jar him. He scrambles to his feet and starts to circle Omega, trying to give himself a moment to clear his head.

Fine, Omega Supreme will pull the laser bullets out of his arm cannon and shank Kup with a laser bullet. Will that make Kup happy?
More seriously, when Kup is flipped over and falls on his face, Omega Supreme starts to move a foot toward Kup with all of his usual inexorability. Omega Supreme isn't quick enough to step on Kup, though, so it instead becomes a hard kick aimed at Kup's torso.

That would totally make Kup happy!
Well, okay, probably not.
Kup may not be particularly agile, but he's still fast enough to duck beneath Omega Supreme's kick. He only just makes it beneath, although that is, in part, intentional as he tries to stand back up, attempting to uppercut Omega's foot and return the earlier favor of a flip. A foot is a strange thing to uppercut, but this is a strange fight!

Omega Supreme is uppercut in the foot. Normally, he'd never even notice that, but this manages to tip him over on his back.
Vector Sigma, how is he even supposed to get up from this? He has no real hands! Omega Supreme tries to shove himself up with his gun arm and his tri-claw, making a low, thrumming, discontent rumbling.

So Omega Supreme is a turtle?
Kup would be a fool not to take advantage of the situation, and so he rushes forward, attempting to deliver an old fashioned punch to the elbow of Omega's claw-arm. While he's working to improve his abilities in toe-to-toe combat, he'll never be one for fancy-pants wanna-be ballet moves in a fight.

Omega Supreme is a turtle. Omega Supreme collapses a bit, because that arm was being used to push him up. He heaves with the other arm, though, and pushes himself into a sitting position from which he can get up more easily. Since Kup is rushing, Omega Supreme tries to boot Kup in the pelvis and send Kup flying over his head.
