"Yeah, I know you Junks are all about the metaph- yargh!" Kup releases the hand before it starts to melt through even his armor - it's too early in the fight for him to be willing to sacrifice the use of a hand. Once he lets go, however, he attempts to bring his now-empty hand down on Dai-Janku's elbow in a sharp chop, attempting to instead seperate the limb at the generally-weak Junkion-joint.

And so that arm does separate, causing the bigger bot to stumble back. "Don't shoot, I'm an unarmed man!"
He doesn't make a move to grab his arm yet, though, drawing the fist back for a heavy punch. "I won't say one fist can destroy the world, but it's enough to destroy you!"

Kup is punched in the face, and his trainer might note that he didn't even bother to dodge this one, though it leaves him with a dent to the side of his face, as he's reserving his energy for the more dangerous attacks (such as the plasma). Though he stumbles back a step, he quickly regains his balance before growling and surging forward again.
"Gonna take a lot more than a walking scrap heap like you to finish me!" he yells, swinging Dai-Janku's own arm at him like it's a club. A club with a hand at the end.

Dai-Janku hits himself, at least sort of. His own hand catches him across the face with Kup's swing, though it dislodges a finger and some of the extraneous bits of DJ's helmet. His head even spins around, causing him to stumble a bit...and his head stops facing backwards. "Hey, stop hiding!"

"I'll give you hiding, you poor excuse for a pile of trash!" Kup shouts, tossing Dai-Janku's arm behind him before leaping at the Junkion, attempting to lock one arm around Dai-Janku's remaining arm and the other arm around his neck. "If I have to tear you to bits piece by piece and tie the pieces down and every fan room and access shaft on the ship to beat you, that's what I'll do!"

Dai-Janku wobbles a bit on his feet as Kup latches on, then realizes he needs to turn his head around - and so he does. He strains against Kup, but it's not much use, given the elder 'bot's strength and his own stability. He'll try and headbutt the old-timer, though.
"Break my body all you want, you'll never break my spirit!"

Kup is headbutted! But he's got a damned thick helm, so while it causes him to growl, it's not enough to make him let go.
It may be enough to make him grab tighter, but given that he's dealing with a Junkion, breaking apart the limbs just means Kup'll lose his grip as his opponent falls through his arms!
The viewer will never know, however, because there's another...
Scene cut!
From one pile of junk to another, it seems like. Kup can't help but wonder if this entire match up isn't some sort of "old" joke on the part of Dinobot.
For the moment, Jetfire has the upper hand, or rather, upper foot, as an admittedly careless charge ended with Kup held down on the floor by the Blackbird's foot. It'll probably be damned near impossible to beat the "careless charge" out of Kup, though. Many of the qualities he yells at Rodimus the most for tend to be ones he has himself.
He grabs for Jetfire's foot, attempting to get the leverage needed to throw the other elder off. "Won't... be able to keep me down long, y' aileron-shattered rust bucket."
OOC: Posing of Jetfire with permission.

"RUST BUCKET!" Jetfire roars. "I'll show YOU a RUST BUCKET, you broken-down excuse for a-- WAGHHH!"
Whatever fine and mighty speech Grampa Blackbird was about to get distracted bymake gets cut off as Kup manages to twist one splayed toe enough to pop something in the old jet's ankle, sending him stumbling. He catches himself, barely, after he tumbles away almost a full body-length - his own - by jamming his cane into the ground and bracing himself.
Kup won't be going easy on him, though, and so he spins as quickly as that aching ankle servo will hold him, the blades coming out on his axe.
"Bring it on!"

"You already are showin' me a rust bucket, you lousy excuse for a pile o' strapped together steak knives!" Kup shouts back, rolling to his feet once Jetfire is knocked off him.
When the other shouts, "Bright it on," Kup grins maniacally. For all his shouting and cursing, he's having a hell of a good time, and so he charges right in, not heedless of the ax, but watching to see what Jetfire does with it even as he aims to land a punch in the knee of the leg opposite the one he just damaged.

Jetfire is expecting Kup to be expecting that axe to come swinging in on him. And so the old geezer complies--
But not blade first. He brings it up sharply, handle first, trying to trip Kup on his way in to nit that knee. He's snarling through his "whiskers", spittle and fluids spraying from his mouth. He's also having the time of his life. It feels good to cut loose and just let the fuel sing in his lines and try to break something.
Besides himself, for once.

Dinobot may not be big enough to beat the "careless charge" out of Kup, but he's hoping to train it out of him. It's flaw he occasionally suffers from himself, but it's easier to see in others.
Currently, he doesn't find anything in particular to correct the old Autobot on, so he indulges himself in watching the geezer fight. If there's anything more to life than forcing old people to fight for his amusement, he doesn't know what it is.
Still skippable.

Aaand Kup is tripped up. He starts to fall forward, but quickly turns the fall into a transformation. His engine's already roaring as his tires hit the ground, and he surges forward, finishing his charge towards the leg in one mode if he can't in the other.
Too bad he's slow as all get-out as a truck, and close enough to Jetfire that he doesn't have time to build up much momentum. Oh, well. Even a slow pick-up slamming into one's foot might do something, right?
(Or it might just end in Kup under foot again.)

Oh, it does something, all right. And, surprise, surprise, Kup doesn't end up underfoot. But he may just end up underknee when Jetfire allows his weight to drop as straight down as he can when he feels the joint give.
"Want that'un? All right then! Have it!" he yells, grabbing his axe with both hands to jab it downward at Kup. He won't be able to bring the blades to bear, but having an axe head with all of Jetfire's weight behind it suddenly landing on his roof or bed might give Kup a bit of a shake-up. Maybe.

The knee goes into the roof of Kup's cab while the axe comes down in his bed, denting the roof and wrecking his shocks. "Gnnn!" is all he gets out before he transforms, a move that splits his bed to get him out from beneath the axe. But then there's that damn knee, now on his back. He grunts and pushes against the floor and up to his hands and knees, weight on his back or no. He twists as he can, attempting to hook his elbow around whatever part of the jet's leg or knee that he can snag. If he manages to grab hold, he'll attempt to pull the larger Autobot off his back.

(Oh man, I am so sorry, Kup. I completely forgot that the codger was in this thread!)
Jetfire wasn't expecting a transformation seam to be right there. As Kup transforms, and the old jet's axe suddenly jerks through the now split bed, it completely knocks Jetfire's balance to the pit and back. He manages a thick grunt as he tries to shift to compensate--
Which puts his ankle almost right into Kup's reaching grasp.
"Oh bollocks!" he howls as Kup hauls against that shaky joint. Between the axe and the ankle, Jetfire barely manages to get those words out before he is toppling to one side, arms flailing in an attempt to catch himself.
There's not much to catch himself on, though.
