Counterpunch growls softly but audibly in discontent over the orders, but this doesn't stop him from rushing up the tunnel.1 He reaches the door and, with a couple of experimental moves, quickly determines the moving wall nature of the puzzle. Then he stops moving parts and simply examines the puzzle while the path behind them is still clear. He looks around himself, optics narrowed, and takes it all in. Finally, he activates his radio.
//Think I'm going to have to close off the path back in order to move us forward. //
Is there anyone they want to leave behind?
1 If the floor in this section continues to be 'tire puncturing diamond,' Counterpunch uses his anti-gravs to fly, and makes sure to be seen doing so. Otherwise, he rolls for it.

Duskwing flew back up in robot form with the rest of them. Turmoil's leading, and Duskwing is just fine with the heavy-duty guy deciding what to do. At least until Duskwing gets the short end of the stick, that is. He's also fine with Counterpunch taking the risks of playing with the maybe-trapped door-puzzle-thing. To a point.
''HEY!" Duskwing yelps as one of the moving wall sections bangs into him. "Watch it, will ya? We just got outta the smelter!"

Rook will see that Misfire is commended or otherwise rewarded for his continued loyalty, even if he is just being a good soldier and has no particular feeling for Rook specifically. He may not be part of the jetformer's chain of command, be he'll plant a few honeyed words in the right audio pickups. For now, though, he favors the brightly colored Targetmaster with a nod as he flies past. "Thanks for waiting. Let us catch up, shall we?"
The crow replies to Turmoil's command with a simple //Acknowledged// and makes his way back to the group and up the left fork, hovering as he eyes the door and walls. "Which pieces are connected to which?" he asks Counterpunch, though he refrains from landing on his shoulder this time.
(If he was Laserbeak he could have landed on any shoulder he wanted. Laserbeak is practically the Decepticon Matrix of Leadership.)

(which begs the question of whether or not Laserbeak could have landed on himself?)
Ignoring Counterpunch for the time being, Turmoil's only thought is how much does not like this at all. He sees the wall hit Duskwing and knows that this was yet again another elaborate ruse. Most likely there would not be enough room for them all to crowd around Counterpunch while he worked without crushing a few of them or separating the group in the process. Perhaps if they transformed they might be able to be stacked for maximum space efficiency...
"I want options. These traps seem designed to dwindle our one true advantage; our numbers. While Counterpunch works this out, I want suggestions on what else can be done with the door other than blasting it."

(There is a probably a fanfic like that)
"Trying to force a split, most likely," Misfire says, catching the tail end of Turmoil's comments as he flies up to join the other along with Rook.
Misfire fidgets. He feels rather useless here. He's not a complete mental loss (like some he won't mention), but these types of puzzles were never his forte. Give him a maze, and he'll find his way through no problem. Puzzle boxes? Not so much.
As it is, he just tries to stay out of the way of any shifting walls.

Skipping Phobia due to time out.
Bonecrusher crosses his arms, eyeing the walls suspiciously in case one of them tries to crush him. He's not much of a problem-solver. His solution to most problems involves punching them until they cease to be a problem, and Turmoil has already mentioned out the 'destroy stuff' option.
Shrugging he suggests, "Leave the most useless behind. They can fend for themselves." He'd like to think that includes Duskwing, but in reality Bonecrusher's not useful for much beyond smashing things. The Seeker at least has flight to offer.

Eventually, the diamonds taper off.
One benefit of closing off the path behind them is that it might stop the rushing water still chasing them. Or it could crush them all. Decisions, decisions!
(Though they can probably open up the path ahead without killing anyone, as long as they all pay attention and move - but will the path go anywhere?)

"Shove it up your afterburner, Duskwing," Counterpunch grumbles reflexively, though, distracted as he is by the focus he's putting on the puzzle, the insult is missing some of his usual venom. Some.
When Rook asks about the puzzle, he points to one block, then up to a wall. "That block corresponds to that wall. Once you use those two as a reference, you should be able to figure out the rest."
Once Rook is oriented, the two are able to get to work on solving the puzzle, and though it takes some time, and it may be uncomfortable at moments, the others should be able to end up on the right side at the end, if they keep on their toes as the walls are moving about them.
OOC: Posing of Rook and solving of puzzle with permission.

Duskwing realizes that he'd better pay attention to moving walls, because no one else is going to do it for him, or even warn him. He also makes an effort to keep everyone else between him and Bonecrusher, because Bonecrusher will obviously vote to throw him out the airlock. Fortunately, he's not wounded and can stay on his feet. There are advantages to having the spatial awareness of a good flyer--he even notices the ones that come out of the ceiling and floor before they crunch him and dances aside.
The rest of them... are on their own. Duskwing doesn't like them that much--though he does toss a word of warning at Misfire. "Hey, Misfire! Watch your head!"

Rook does indeed figure out the puzzle relatively quickly, darting in and out around Counterpunch's hands to assist. Compared to negotiating labor union reforms, sliding puzzles are easy. Once he gets the hang of it, he's sure to let the other 'Cons know when a block is about to come down so that they can avoid getting crushed
He wants as many warm, heavily armed bodies between him and the rest of this house of horrors as possible, after all.

“If worse comes to worse, we can leave some of the group with a person who can solve the puzzle,” Phobia answers Turmoil, quickly sidestepping a wall and then hopping over another one. It didn’t look like they were going to have to divide the group up however; the greater danger was anyone getting trapped or crushed by the walls. There was also the minor issue of anyone trapped here not having enough time to solve the puzzle before the water reached them, although the water should be warmed up by the heat of the lava tube by now.

Turmoil did his best to watch the way the blocks were being shifted, but it was hard with the walls moving to strike him every moment, many of which did, painfully, as his size worked against him once more. If he was inclined to paranoia, he would have suspected that Counterpunch was trying to bust him and the rest up before solving the puzzle.
"We wait," Turmoil growled as another section nicked his shoulder.

Misfire stays toward the back of the party. He gets bumped a few times by moving parts, but for the most parts manages to stay out of the way.
Misfire is skippable until we get moving/get to the next crisis

Bonecrusher is going to stay out of the way of the moving walls as best he can, and he's going to shove around anyone who gets in his way, large or small. He's not really helping his case for if they do need to leave someone behind later on.
OOC: Also skippable until they get going again.

They come to a long, tall shaft with a ladder when the puzzle is done! It's a tight squeeze for the bigger Transformers, but after a long flight/climb....
They're in the cone of a volcano, looking down at an active lava field. The fliers could just ditch here, now. They're open, albeit stormy, sky above.
Everyone has a lot more climbing left. There are gantries and scaffolds all around the inner cone in spiral rings, and it looks like there's a rig off in the middle of the volcano, some sort of structure that vaguely looks like it might be tapping the thermal power of the volcano. There's a shining pile of cubes near the device that might be energon. It's far away and hard to make out, but there might even be a few guards or workers.
It's way too far away to tell faction, if any.
