Counterpunch definitely flies up the shaft. For one, it's easier, but for another, he's prone to subtle reminders that yes, he has antigravs when he gets a chance. Once he gets up the shaft and emerges onto the gaffolds, he crouches and narrows his optic band.
He doesn't activate his radio, because if he can't tell what faction those... whatever are down there, he can't be sure they won't listen in. He does, however, eye the cubes.
Blast them, cause an explosion, watch the reaction and judge from that? Hmm. No. Instead, he just moves out of the way of the entrance and waits for the others to emerge behind him. Some of the less stealthy, less... restrained Decepticons will draw whoever's attention, he's sure, and then he can deal with the situation as needed.

Duskwing flies up the shaft and hoots in delight once he's out in the open air. He continues rising until he can transform, and circles the crater, trying to get a look at whoever is working on the energon cubes. Also, he tells himself, he's being a good soldier and scouting the vicinity. How did all these works get here? Is there a road? Landing strip or giant helipad? Devastator lounging around with an energon margarita in one hand?
Slag, but it's good to be out of those tunnels! Vicious updrafts from the lava field below toss him about and make for a bumpy ride, but Duskwing loves it anyway. He's flying.

Rook emerges from the top of the volcano soon after Duskwing, wings beating hard. He hovers in place and looks around, getting the lay of the land, then quickly dives back down to perch on a piece of non-molten rock, provided he can find one. Otherwise he'll just hover as low as he can.
//Be cautious how you come out, everyone,// he transmits, hopefully with high enough power for everyone to hear, but low enough power that no strangers on the geothermal rig or whatever it is can listen in. //This is an inhabited area. We may be being observed. Duskwing, kindly join us down here please. We don't want you to be spotted.//

//Yes sir,// Phobia responds to Rook as he alights on the ground, gun slipping into his hand from subspace. He watches Duskwing take flight with a quiet, hidden frown before quickly glancing at the guards, waiting to see if the seeker had been spotted.

Skipping others due to time-out.
Bonecrusher is lagging behind. Unlike many of the other 'Cons here, he has no anti-gravs to just float him up the shaft all easy as energon pie. Though he's slagging well going to consider getting some installed if he ever gets out of this place! In the meantime he's going to make his slow, ponderous way up that ladder and block the way of anybody who didn't have the sense to go up before him.
Whatever the others plan to do, they're bound to have started it by the time he gets up to the top.

Once the group is out of the tunnel, Misfire is seized with the same urge to stretch his wings as Duskwing was. The Targetmaster does not, however, indulge that urge just yet.
Instead, he activates his radar. His effective distance is halved in robot mode, but he'll start with that for now.
"Give me a minute. Might be able to pick up something on my radar," he says softly.

There are non-molten rocks for Rook to lounge upon.
There is no Devastator lounging with an energon margarita, however.
There's a lookout that may or may not have noticed Duskwing. There might be a tense moment here.
There is a small landing strip on the outside of the cone; looks like materials are mostly brought in by air. Misfire's radar will tell him that the workers on the rig looks awfully like Transformers.

Counterpunch narrows his optic-band as Duskwing takes to the air. "Either they know we're here, or they're idiots," he states flatly. He starts to creep, not towards the cone, but towards the workers on the rig, moving quietly, like someone skilled in stealth but with no particular supporting technology. This shouldn't be that strange, though. Anyone looking at his record can see that he's an intelligence wash-out from before his arrival.

Duskwing rolls and slips below the outer rim of the caldera, then pops up and over the rim away from the workers, transforming as he settles down somewhere near Rook.
While he waits for Turmoil to pop up and give orders, Duskwing announces via Decepticon radio: // Dem guys look like Transformers, didn't get close enough to see no badges on account of somebody wit' cold feet callin' me off. Dere's an airstrip, no roads. Look like dey brought dis stuff in dat way. //

//We're in a lava field, I assure you my feet are perfectly warm, Duskwing,// Rook says, preening an out-of-place feather.
He nods at Misfire, waiting for the Targetmaster's radar to do its thing, and watches Counterpunch's progress with first one eye, then the other.

“Mine workers?” Phobia ponders out loud. Which faction though? Well, Autobots didn’t tend to work in sinister active volcanoes a la common villainous tropes, but it was better safe than shooting at your own side or non-aggressive neutrals. He idly hope that they won’t have to fight, but that was likely going to be part of the goal in this section of the sim.

Bonecrusher finally heaves himself off the ladder to glare out across the lava field. "The slag is that? There's people there? We should beat 'em up and ask them where they are." He cracks his knuckles. Violence clearly solves everything. Or it makes him feel better, anyway.

Misfire starts to speak up about what he discovers with his radar when Duskwing magically seems to be able to tell the same information despite not having said radar.
Instead the interceptor jet gives Rook a curt nod, "He's correct. I'm the fastest here; I could buzz them and probably get a closer look. But you'll lose any surprise element then."
"Of course, we may not have any surprise element anyway, since someone apparently has no impulse control," Misfire finishes blandly.

One of the mining rig workers takes to the air, shifting into a F-35, and chases after Duskwing, hollering in a basso feminine voice, "Oi, another new lot up from the waves? Well, what are you skulking around for? Get to work!"
A paler jet, marked with icy blue, takes wing, as well, but he's a bit too far off for the party to hear.
Well, that's... unexpected?

// Great. It's here all over again, // complains Counterpunch over the radio to the others. He narrows his optics and continues to creep forward. Just because Duskwing's been discovered is no reason to just assume he's been found out, too. He might have been, true enough, but if he assumes he has and just stands up or does something to give himself away, he will be found out for certain.
