Spinister is suspicious of things that make him feel instantly better. (He is suspicious of Needlenose, too.) This... makes him feel like... him. But more.
Needlenose had better have some good cuffs. Coming off Blight is going to be rough.
Someone is still playing with Spinister. Spinister does not like this. Stepping off the side, he aims to cut a hole in the ceiling, such that a chunk of the ceiling will fall down off to the other side, and he gets ready to run in case he looses something nasty.
He also tries to call Wreckage. No swift answer?

Doo-dooo-berp. I'm sorry, but the number you have dialed is no longer in service. Please check your number and dial again.
Sorry Spinister, no sexy-legged Stryker for you.
A chunk of the ceiling does indeed fall down, though it seems to crumble more than melt as soon as Singe's heat touches it. What little light there was in the hallway goes out, and air is thick with swirling dust.
The darkness is palpable.
OOC: The nomming darkness from before is not attempting to nibble, nor is it attempting to move Spinster. It is, however, attempting to divest him of his gun and transport it elsewhere. Up to you as to how successful it is.

Spinister really, really, does not want to give up his gun. That is a part of him! Two parts! He has God's grip of death on it, and he turns it all the way up.
While trying to cast magic missile at the darkness, Spinister tries to drag himself back towards the exit.
Forget this. Spinister is going home. If some stupid darkness wants to pick him up and put him back in here again, he's going to start cracking out fusion bombs.

The darkling releases its hold on Spinster's gun, though whether this is because it dislikes Singe's supercharged fire is unclear as it is impossible to see the darkling is actually injured.
Something that feels much more solid than the darkness grabs Spinster's arm and slings him hard against the wall, face-first, hard enough to leave a nice Spinister-shaped dent in the metal. Spinster's pain sensors are dialed down, but his other sensors are dialed up, and that's still going to be a hell of a lot of sensory input all at once.
If the rookie cop doesn't go down with that hit, the assailant will just have to get more creative.

Spinister isn't very tough, and with his disease, spreading inside, he's a bit on the fragile side. His rotors break as he goes down, spanning off and bouncing down the hallway.
His optics dim as pain, dulled, and other sensations surge through him. He refuses to let this be the end.
Throwing Singe and Hairsplitter as far as they'll go toward that locked exit, he tries to transform. They transform, hit the ground running, and verge off to the left side of the hallway. How do they intend to get out a locked door? Well, Targetmasters can do the 'jump, transform, and fire trick', but if Spinister can get transformed, his particle beams cannons will open the door for them.
Maybe it looks noble, trying to cover their escape, but the thing is, they're him. His two little insurance policies. If they live, even if he dies, there is a rather good chance Spinister can be rebuilt, or so Vorath's theories go.
Not something Spinister's ever wanted to bank on, but he doesn't think he can take another hit.

Creativity may not be needed, after all, given how much damage was done on the first hit.
No move is made to try and stop the Nebulans as they beat feet toward the door. However, as Spinister starts to transform, he is grabbed and slammed into the wall again. Rather than let go on impact the attacker yanks the cop backwards and into opposite wall, like swinging a ragdoll.
The attacker fades into the darkness once more, waiting.

Singe and Hairsplitter try the general Decepticon frequency. No dice? Since Spinister is indisposed, Singe does the jump, transform, and fire trick, trying to make an exit for himself and Hairsplitter.
Spinister slumps into unconsciousness and a pile of pieces, oozing life. It's a shame he couldn't cloak first. Then they would have never found his pieces.

Singe succeeds in making an exit for himself and Hairsplitter, and the two Nebulans are free to run. What they are not free to do, however, is radio out. They will continue to have this problem for a bit of a distance.
Though if they, for some reason, try the frequency of an certain old Autobot mercenary, that call will go through.
Once the Nebulans are out, a match flares in the darkness, illuminating tawny fur for brief seconds before it dies out. A tiny glow remains, cigarette smoke curling up in the darkness.
"Damn kid. Told him to stay out of it," growls a voice from earlier in the adventure, "Make it quick, not like the other messes."
Another voice answers, the voice that spoke so casually during the vivisection video, "Not allowed to break pattern. You know that." A pause, "You let the guns get away."
"They won't get far."
"They'd better not. They want to examine that technology."
The darkness swirls, the lights come up, and the only person in the hallway is the old leonine plainsclothes cop. He growls lowly.
The game is coming to a head, and he'll be so glad when he doesn't have to play this role anymore. Maybe he'll be lucky enough to see that sick son of a bitch ripped apart.
If he's really lucky, maybe it'll be his own jaws on the monster's throat.
OOC: I'm thinking that a new thread would be appropriate here, as we have definitely hit the end of a scene. If you're good with it, drop me a note here or in PM and I'll start it up.
