Boondocker follows Arcee, quietly as he can with his pistol drawn up to his chest. Tension runs high, as does anticipation of what might be around. Listening reeeeal close, Boony hears the noise as well now, glancing side to side.
//Yeah, whut she said. Ah don' know nothin' 'bout no binary.//

//You don't?// Makeshift is genuinely surprised. On his world, most bulks at least understand binary. Mini-cons had simply adopted the standard Cybertronian language for the sake of convenience. //Sorry, my mistake.//
He turns his attention back to the cleaning robot. <How long have you been cleaning in this room?>

//Uh, nope, not at all...// Arcee says. //But don't worry about it. We'll figure something out.// She peers around the corner of the building and has to stifle a laugh. The robot she sees is perhaps one of the most comical she's seen in several thousand years. It's floating on miniature air-jets, and from its inside, several tubes are protruding. Each is making a sucking sound. It seems the robot is little more than a floating vacuum cleaner. *** <Cleaning cycle occurs once every two solar cycles,> the robot replies. <...Several cycles appear to have been missed.>

Boondocker peers around the corner confusedly once he sees Arcee laughing, and chuckles some himself. "Heh, we got all worked up over nothin' but a lil' Hoover-bot..."

//Guys, apparently the cleaning bots are programmed to clean every other day. This one says they've missed a few.// Never would've guessed, what with the general look of a riot in some parts of the building.
Makeshift ponders for a moment. <How many cycles has it been since you last noticed organic beings in this building?> Maybe knowing exactly how long ago the place was abandoned would be useful to someone.

//Huh. Wonder what started them up again? Electrical fluke... or something we're going to have to deal with?//
Arcee smiles. "Doesn't look like it's doing anything other than trying to clean. I think we're pretty safe from this tiny terror."

<Unknown,> the cleaning robot replies. <My log information appears to be... fuzzy.>

Boondocker nods at Arcee's comment, smiling himself and lowering his blaster, glancing around. "Wonder if'n thar's more of these little fellers in th' area..."

If Makeshift were flexible enough, he'd be tapping his chin area thoughtfully as he considers what to try asking next. Of course, pointing a gun at one's own face is usually not a bright idea, so he settles for crossing his forearms under his chest-nosecone. He may not be much of a fighter, but he's pretty sure a broom handle isn't gonna seriously injure him if this robot goes berserk all of a sudden.
<Are your treads impaired? You seem to be stuck.>
Then a thought occurs to him. He's got a native (of sorts) that he can actually communicate with. It didn't understand English, but it spoke binary, and most people wouldn't make a robot that couldn't understand their orders..... <Can you provide a copy of the program needed to translate organic language to binary?>

"Might be," Arcee says, looking around. "Wonder why they've only just started switching on, though."

The cleaning robot gives Makeshift about as curious a look as its face can manage. <Translate? Unknown term....>

Boondocker nods, hands going to his hips in his hands-in-pockets-thinking-slouch pose again."Yeah...that thar is the six-thousand credit hum-dinger of a question, ah tell yuh whut."
If Arcee's looking and listening, she might hear a slight whine from Boony's processors, and note a gleam in his optics when he has an epiphany.
//Hey, Makeshift, ah got an ideeur! Ask that thar lil' feller whut it is whut gives 'em powuh!//

Arcee gives Boondocker a smile. "Good thinking," she says. A slight bump against her leg makes her twitch and go for her gun again, but quick visual confirmation proves that it's just the cleaning robot trying to get past her. Chuckling, she steps out of its way.

<My batteries are functioning at 75% capacity,> the robot answers, the term "power" having cued up that response.

Boondocker can't help a big grin. Not often that he has a good idea like this, so might as well be a little proud. "Thankee kindly, Miz Arcee" he answers, then stooping when the cleaning robot comes his way to get a good look at it.
The little sucker-bot observes Boondocker, and then turns his suckers on the truck-bot's dirty vehicle plates, going for the more loose dried clumps of mud. Boony laughs, squirming a bit. "H-hey, that tickles, lil' feller!"

Note for future reference. Local robots are very literal. <Where do you refill your energy supplies?>
***
The Hoover-bot scrubbing away at Boondocker pauses for a moment, letting out a series of wheedle-beeps. After a moment, a small door opens in the side of a nearby building, releasing a swarm of small robots. Some are similar to the vacuum robot, some equipped with spray hoses and soap nozzles, and some equipped with hover fans and buffing pads on the bottom; all swarm over Boondocker, intend on scrubbing away until he sparkles in the sun.
Swarming of Boondocker with player permission.

Arcee resists the urge to laugh at Boondocker's misfortune. "Want a hand there?" she asks. Should be easy enough to remove the swarm. The little robots can't possibly be very strong, can they?

<There is a recharge port in my storage cubicle,> the robot replies.
