OOC: Think your character makes sense here? Feel free to join. Want to start other threads in the arena, like a security sweep? Go ahead!
Emirate Xaaron stands inside a large arena, atop a balcony. Ceiling spars and lights have crashed into the floor since its dereliction. He himself has also seen better days. Emirate Xaaron folds his hands behind his back and awaits the arrival of the others.

Starscream flies in, ahead of any other Decepticons that may be traveling in. Well, at least after any advance units have examined the place. Unlike previous otherworldly leaders, Starscream leads the pack out of concern rather than arrogance--if this was a trap, he would rather himself be attacked than others.
He transforms and lands atop the balcony that their 'random' selection has come up with. Assuming there are no more arrivals they're waiting on, he simply waits patiently for Xaaron to speak.

The massive red and yellow form of Rodimus Prime's alternate mode drives in through the arena entrance, swerve-skids to a stop, and transforms. Even from a distance, however, the difference is immediate. While this Rodimus carries himself with a quiet sense of confidence, there is none of the cruel arrogance about him that his other self does. The vicious sneer is missing, and in its place is an expression of grim determination as his makes his way to the balcony where Emirate Xaaron and Starscream wait. As he approaches, he radios over the allied frequency, //Rodimus Prime, arriving.// Then, when he physically arrives near the others, Starscream can clearly see his brilliant blue optics, both of them shining intensely now that he's finally received the proper repairs to the one alternate Mirage previously took out. He looks between Starscream and Emirate Xaaron, waiting for the radio confirmation from Starscream.

Emirate Xaaron has to admit that this situation takes him back. Long Before there were Autobots and Decepticons, there were city-states and leaders. Starscream had been a figure-head of Vos and Emirate Xaaron a member of the Council of Elders. Of course there were meetings.
It as not this Starscream, to be certain, and not even the alternate of this Starscream.
Still, Emirate Xaaron almost expects a Shockwave, all the same, and the reasons are a bit more complex than mere nostalgia.
Waving a hand, he introduces, "Starscream, this is Rodimus Prime."
Emirate Xaaron watches Starscream closely for a reaction.

Starscream is trying his best, but he's not perfectly at ease with this alliance. When Rodimus arrives, his fists instinctively clench tightly for a moment, before unclenching. This is perfectly understandable, but cannot help Xaaron's appraisal of Starscream at such a crucial time.
//Starscream here.// he radios, as he inclines his head in greeting. "Rodimus, thank you for coming."

Rodimus dips his head in a nod as he's introduced, and when Starscream speaks, he answers.
"No, thank you, Starscream. We're in a pretty tight spot here without you. And, well, probably with you, too."
He falls silent for a moment, then turns towards Emirate Xaaron and tries to catch the other's optic. He's going to have to tell them. Their allies need to know. When he gets a slight nod of acknowledgement, he turns back towards Starscream.
"I fought my alternate. I can't bring his level of firepower to the table - not even close to it."
OOC: Emirate Xaaron nod mentioned with permission.

Dead End fretted inwardly about his relative slowness compared to Starscream. He simply couldn't fly as fast as the nimble jet--and it was his self-appointed to duty to guard the Prince. Megatron had been a much slower flyer, and the Stunticons designed to keep pace with him.
Still, he'd finally arrived, and these Other Autobots hadn't killed him yet. Nor had their own Autobots or the Other Decepticons turned up to ambush them, an unnaturally fortuitous and surprise turn of events. Of course, the Demon Prime would probably just grind them all under his heels at once, instead of piecemeal.
Starscream was already talking to the Other Autobots. Dead End gave him a crisp salute, but did not interrupt by reporting in verbally or by radio. The Prince could see him just fine. If Starscream wanted to hear from Dead End in the middle of his negotiations, he'd say so.
He took up his usual position to the side and slightly behind Starscream; the hilt of his sword projected over one shoulder. This Stunticon would be quite different from the one these Autobots knew; not only did he carry a sword, but his face was bare, not hidden by mask or visor. His optics were the same strange violet as his visor.

Emirate Xaaron notices that fist clench from Starscream. They're going to have great difficulty working together, he already knows. The normal Decepticons and the evil Autobots are likely used to and comfortable with an atmosphere of casual deception, distrust, and backstabbing, which would make accepting the faces of their enemies as allier a lot easier for them.
Autobots and 'good' Decepticons do not have that advantage, such as it is.
He turns an inquiring optic on Dead End. The Stunticon really ought to radio in for identification. Looks are so easy to... transform.
Until confirmation is made, he remains quiet.

Starscream notices Xaaron's remark, and radios on behalf of his subordinate.
//This is Dead End, approaching.// And inclines an optic at his subordinate. They don't trust us, not announcing yourself properly doesn't help.
Starscream knows this alliance isn't going to be easy. However, necessity preludes any ability to discern over which options are easy and which are not.
Starscream pauses for a moment at Rodimus' revelation. However, it's just a beat, as he "Then we'll just have to do what we can. There are tactics we can employ. I know how to fight him--we've survived against him this long, and with your help perhaps we can finally defeat him. He's arrogant, and utterly convinced he can defeat everything and everyone. He might be good, but if care is taken, he can be bested."

// Dead End reporting. My apologies, sirs; I did not wish to intrude on your negotiations. // Dead End said at low power over the Allied Heroes frequency. There was a slightly chagrined look on his face. He wasn't used to being the one who made Bots nervous. That was Wildrider's niche.

"And I apologize for the suspicion, but I'm afraid the radio confirmations are a necessary requirement. We've already had some problems with our own alternates, and if we don't stay on the alert, we're just asking to be taken advantage of."
Rodimus closes his mouth and purses his lips as Starscream speaks, and when the other is done, he narrows his optics and gives a faint nod of his head. "We've already picked up on the arrogance, but for all that he may think he can defeat everyone and everything, he still doesn't go into battle alone, and now he has your alternates with him. He might be the biggest single threat - although since their Omega Supreme has arrived here, that's not true in a literal sense and possibly not in a figurative sense - but we can't focus on bringing him down to the exclusion of the others."
Rodimus shakes his head. "We need to shake up their alliance. Starscream and Shockwave can't be at ease around this guy. There's got to be some way to take advantage of that."

Now as satisfied as he is going to be, Emirate Xaaron has a thought, along the lines of shaking up alliances. He explains, "I had suggested that Starscream might have some of his men who are more subtle infiltrate our Decepticons. Perhaps they could do acts of sabotage to cause friction between the other Autobots and our Decepticons?"
It may seem a bit concerning that Emirate Xaaron's thoughts immediately leap to deception, but he tries to use what works.
"If we can dissolve their alliance, our position becomes much rosier."

Botanica enters the arena still robot mode, the bandage First Aid applied still in place. She is carrying Starscream's null rays and as she approaches, she radios over the Allied Hero channel:
//Reporting as Emirate Xaaron requested. He seemed to think you might want these back.// Her tone is slightly teasing at that last, but only just. A polite smile plays across her lips as she offers Starscream back his weapons.

Starscream nods at Emirate Xaaron's thoughts. "There are enough aggressive Autobots just looking for an excuse to crack a motherboard in half, it wouldn't take much to turn them against each other." He pauses. "If they haven't already. I have some infiltration experts who could handle the job, even if they wouldn't like it. Have you tried anything similar with your own units and the Autobots from my world?"
Starscream accepts the weapons from Botanica, re-attaching them. He doesn't return the banter on the radio, at least verbally. He still offers a good-natured smile at the Maximal.

Rodimus inclines his head towards Botanica, offering her a faint smile in greeting, one that quickly fades to an expression of intense focus as he answers Starscream's questions.
"Unfortunately, we didn't have confirmation that they were here until right before the big attack, and at that point we were concentrating on other things. But besides that, they already know we're here, and have since they arrived. They probably know to be on the alert for infiltration from our end. Hopefully, they don't know your group has arrived yet."
