Medical had been prepped for considerably more damaged mechs than this, Hook thinks irritably. But Needlenose is still incoming.
His fingers fly over the keyboard-input for the fabricator. There's hardly any conscious recall of the different numbers that matched the parts he would need to repair Fleetwind. He had, after all, programmed the fabricator to use the part numbers from his own universe.
Presets were such a wonderful thing. As were mass-produced jets that had been designed for their interchangeability of parts and the easy replacement of the same.
"Skyfire scored a hit on you. I presume you were not so foolish as to be facing him alone." He glances over his shoulder at the holed Seeker currently decorating part of Medical.
Megatron only knows where Scourge has gotten off to since Hook swept into Medical. As the on-duty technician, however, if the locust is no longer present in Medical itself, Hook is going to have to... explain to him about the protocol for known incoming wounded.

"Of course not!" Fleetwind protests as he lays back on the medical table. "I hadn't intended to face him at all. I was battling the Minibot, and he came out of nowhere. Thundercracker and I successfully ran him off, however."
He doesn't comment on how strange that is - he's already said as much over the radio.

"Hnh." Oh, look, the fabricator has parts for him. Hook carefully moved the supplied pieces onto a tray and awaited the rest of what he'd ordered. "Skyfire fled without the minibot. So we have the minibot, and I presume you know where he is now."

"I was dropped off before he was taken to his final destination," the Seeker answers, turning his head to watch Hook. Otherwise, however, he stays still. "Shockwave was present at the capture, however, and looked to want to interrogate him."
Fleetwind's guessed where the Minibot probably is, but he does not actually state as much, instead simply providing the information he used to reach that guess.

Really, it wouldn't be too hard to miss Scourge. He's smaller than Hook and probably hidden amongst some sort of equipment.
Work time. Scourge sets down his entirely unrelated - for now, anyway - project and heads for a more visible part of the room. "Scourge ready for duty, boss." A soft whir indicates that he has switched whatever he was using before for tools more applicable for repair. "Where do you need me?" He starts to turn towards the Seeker, but stops.
Scourge stands still for a short period, then turns back to Hook. "Boss, I just got a message from Starscream requesting my presence down in Shockwave's lab. Permission to briefly skip out on duty?." He suspected he was bending the truth just a little with the 'briefly'. If there was an application for his skills, he'd make certain he enjoyed it.

"Observe me as I work, Scourge. You need to learn basic Seeker repairs." Because that is the type of skill that a Decepticon technician can use at almost any post. Attached to Shockwave's tower in Polyhex? Seekers to repair. Out at the far end of the system where it's you and three other mechs in a rotating tin-can of a space-station? Seekers to repair. Crash-landed on an alien world with your base underwater? You can bet your bottom dollar there'll be Seekers to repair.
Ah, now he has all the parts- And Scourge announces that he's being summoned off to Shockwave's lab. Well, it seems Fleetwind's well-educated assessment is indeed correct.
"Go, then."
Hook approaches Fleetwind and begins snipping off the cauterized ends of wires in the hole in the jet's chest without so much as a 'by your leave'. "What else did you see out there, Fleetwind?"

Shortround swiftly hovers into medical after Scourge leaves, making sure not to hit the smaller transformer. He transforms, grabbing his pile of possibly useful salvage before it hits the ground.
Shortround lives for digging through piles of toys to find shortpacked ones. Digging through abandoned cities for anything that can be used on the replicator is second nature to him. Not to mention, when there are psychotic Autobots nearby, the best place to be is medical.
He stays silent, waiting for Hook to tell him where to go. Though he really just wants to listen into the conversation, or pick up some repairing tips. He's got that Diaclone Ligier back in his reality that needs fixing on that waist joint still...

Fleetwind wasn't really expecting a 'by your leave.' It's not that he's used to getting repaired by technicians of Hook's caliber - far from it - but the idea of a Decepticon medic asking permission first is rare enough no matter what their level.
"Little enough," Fleetwind answers. "First, the Minibot arrived, well overhead. Almost lost him in the upper atmosphere once or twice. Then, after we had gotten the Minibot on the ropes, Skyfire arrived. Skyfire and... mmmm, it looked to be an unmarked Seeker, actually, in Thundercracker's colors. Skyfire fired at - and hit - me, but fled to the upper atmosphere in response to the return fire. By the time he dived back down, I was concentrating on the Minibot, but he fled in response to Thundercracker and Eye-fire's attacks."

Scourge will have to learn sometime else. There will surely be other times Seekers need repair. Really, he's not sure they're such a good idea. Sure, it's easy to repair and/or produce, but if a weakness can be found in one, the entire army might fall. It would certainly make his sort of weapons easier to design.
"I'll be back as soon as possible, boss." Of course, 'possible' is variable. Scourge would need a certain amount of time for his work.
Scourge departs for Shockwave's lab, his faceplate hiding a grin again. This should be fun.

"Feed that into the fabricator, Shortround, until it starts beeping at you." The stores have been depleted a bit, after all. "The rest goes in the usual place."
Wires are spliced into Fleetwind deftly. "Thundercracker's colors? Curious."
Didn't Seekers identify each other by their colors? A Seeker in Thundercracker's colors would Thundercracker to another Seeker, wouldn't he? But Fleetwind was a scrupulously accurate jet, and saying Thundercracker flew with the Autobots without proof of voice as well as colors was perhaps further than the yellow jet wished to reach.
"The minibot fled, but was retrieved. What happened between the fleeing and the retrieval?"

Shortround nods and hovers over to the input of the fabricator, putting parts into the machine.
"I'm not surprised that they'd have a blue one" Shortround pipes up. "I mean, most of you Seeker guys are blue anyway. And heck, my universe's Starscream used to be Thundercracker's colours, its probably a popular colour scheme or something"
Shortround wouldn't be surprised if there was a purple, pink, lime, gold and light blue Seeker out there somewhere. There's only so many colour schemes they can use, and he's pretty sure they've gone through all of the blue ones already.

"It wasn't just a blue Seeker, Shortround. It was a Seeker wearing Thundercracker's colors." There's a difference. Hook is right: Seeker's distinguish between each other primarily by color, but also by voice. There are many variants of blue possible. They didn't just have a Seeker wearing some random variation of blue - they had a Seeker wearing colors that were a perfect match for Thundercracker's.
"And... I apologize, Hook. I was unclear. The Minibot did flee some distance, but rather than escaping when he had the opportunity, he decided to stay to watch Skyfire finish me. Skyfire is the one who fled due to Eye-fire's and Thundercracker's counterattacks. Our Thundercracker." Even if Fleetwind won't go so far as to call the other jet 'Thundercracker,' it seemed a good idea to clarify.
"He didn't flee when he had the opportunity, and he lost the opportunity. That is what happened prior to retrieval."

Yay, Fleetwind saves Hook from pedantically correcting Shortround about the proper identification cues for the domestic Seeker!
"When you're done there, Shortround, come and observe these repairs. Knowing your way around a Seeker is a useful skill," Hook says as he continues filling in the hole in Fleetwind's torso.
"Yourself, Thundercracker, Shockwave, and Eye-fire were the Decepticons present at the skirmish with Skyfire and the capture of the minibot, correct?" That's what it sounds like from what Fleetwind has been saying, but it doesn't hurt to clarify.

Shortround shrugs. "Eh, maybe in some crazy alt universe Thundercracker works with the Autobots I guess. Or maybe its a Seeker who really liked him so is the same colours as him..."
Shortround sighed. "Great, I just said that the random seeker was a homage..." he mutters, putting away the rest of the surplus materials once the machine starts beeping, before hovering over to watch Hook fix Fleetwind.

It is at this point that Eye-Fire staggers in. And stagger really is the best description. One hand resting against the door frame, and it should be noted that its his right hand, the energy cannon hand that he doesn't normally use for such menial tasks.
The reason for this is clear upon closer inspection of his other arm, which is missing midway from where his hand would be to his elbow, wires and loose bits of metal dangling from the stump, with the occasional spark and a drop of energon leaking.
There's also a dent in his chest armour, and the paint on the metal rim of his optic looks like something tried to claw his face off.
"I could use some repairs, if anybody is free." Is all that he says, a show of sparks erupting from his damaged arm.
