Two jets and a large truck are gone. One hovercraft and one jet are personnel and thus don't count towards the "needs to be dealt with" list. One gun'former is being dealt with. One jet has stepped up to be dealt with. One car has been triaged to deal with after everything else is done.
All of this gets ticked off subconsciously as Hook visually examines Skystrike. Shredded left air intake and canard - looked like mortar rounds doing their usual rocket-powered grenade damage. Stab through and through the right wing- Hmm.
His visor brightened significantly as he adjusted the zoom-level.
Correction: Partially cauterized through and through stab on the right wing. Electrical burns across the chest.
"Extend your left arm straight out in front of you," he instructs, visor dimming. Assuming she does, he takes hold of her by the elbow and flexes her arm-gun with his other hand.
Yes, Decepticon surgical engineers do the 'does this hurt?' school of doctoring, too.

Skystrike does as she’s told, albeit there was a certain reluctance in her movement. The shoulder gun was Spacer’s department. It’d always been Spacer’s department especially after the trucker upgraded it. Minor exceptions were made on the rare occasion that her team mate was somehow incapacitated, but this was a completely different situation.
The flexing of her fingers was out of pain, but not as much it was the very, very disturbing feel of still unfamiliar fingers on the weapon. The seeker casts Hook a brief, and a maybe just a tad anxious sideways glance before going back to staring at the wall.

The arm-gun is over-rotating. Painful for the Seeker, but simple to fix.
This whole set of battle damage looked simple to fix, frighteningly enough. Replace the left air vent and canard, patch the wing and chest.
Someday, it really failed to strike Hook how much experience he had that Skystrike's extensive damages got ticked off as "simple, simple, and simple".

The over-rotation wasn’t actually too bad –the gun was supposed to be able to move independent of her arm- there just wasn’t supposed to be pain accompanying the movement. Skystrike nonetheless resists the urge to pull her arm away from Hook, a wing twitching at the effort.
It wasn’t that she doubted Hook’s ability to fix her; he was probably the best person to have poking about your insides under most circumstances. The problem was that she still didn’t trust anyone here enough to stop herself from going into a mental nervous fit whenever the prospect of being fixed by a non-Spacer entity came up.

There is a slight but key difference between over-rotation and lack-of-rotation. Hook, incidentally, knows how to fix both problems with a Seeker's arm-gun.
The wing-twitch is noted and interpreted through surgical engineer filters. "You are in more pain than you informed me of."

“Maybe.” Skystrike answers with stubborn vagueness. It wasn’t anywhere near a good and elaborate answer but seeker just wanted out of infirmary at this point. She’d never been a good patient that way.

Maybe.
Hook's visor dims to a thin line of bright red. "I see."
With one hand, he reaches across to wrap around her uninjured arm-gun and forearm. Then he takes hold of her over-rotating arm-gun with his other hand. "Pain is a useful diagnostic tool, Skystrike."
His light grip on her fore-arm and gun turns crushingly tight, metal creaking as the arm-gun bends inward. Simultaneously, he yanks her other arm-gun into an upward rotation. It's forced well past even the extent of her injury, and there is the ragged sound of metal tearing.
"Under-reported pain can lead to damages not being detected," Hook says smoothly, as calm and clinical as if he were lecturing medical engineer students. "Undetected damages can prove fatal in battle."
The Constructicon yanks the arm-gun downward before it tears off completely from Skystrike's shoulder. This time, it is forced in the other direction, and a little bit more of the metal bindings rip.

Definitely not a good answer, but Skystrike couldn’t bring herself to regret it just yet. Not even when Hook reached over for her other arm despite knowing perfectly well what was coming next. It didn’t stop the undignified groan from escaping as sharp tendrils of pain suddenly crackled up her arms.
The seeker’s optics flared lividly and there was a distinct tension in her shoulders that was accompanied by the angry hum of thrusters winding up. No one outside of the DFD got away with doing these kinds of things to her before and she wasn’t about to let them start getting away with it now. The seeker’s fists unclenched painfully and she was about to try and wrench her arms free of his grasp when the coolly lecturing voice came through somewhere between the agony and the rising fury.
An expression of momentary bewilderment flickered across her face as Skystrike took a moment to stare at Hook, but it didn’t stay long. Mostly because he was pulling her damaged arm gun down, catching her with her guard down and wrenching a rather high pitched “Yii!” from her vocalizer.

Eye-Fire doesn't like the way this is going. Hook is either going to put her into intensive care or push her too far and she's going to try to put Hook in intensive care.
He's too damaged to do much except shoot her, but he'll do it if she does flip out. He wishes he had a "stun" or "Calm down" setting on his arm blaster, actually.

"You seem to have developed this idea that you are somehow special." Hook yanks Skystrike's arm-gun upward. "That the rules do not apply to you." And back down.
"So long as you are functioning and I am the chief engineer, the rules will apply in my domain." He shifts his grip on her arm-gun. "Otherwise, the kindest thing I may do would be to refuse you entrance."
He spins her arm-gun, and the metal rasps as it finally tears free from its mounting.
"I am not habitually a kind mech, Skystrike."

Skystrike’s optics flickered in indecision, though it was neither a result of pain or Hook’s threat to keep her out of the medbay. She’d lived with both before she came here and while there was a high chance she’d die from the latter, it didn’t truly bother her. Not after so many years of keeping herself out of any medical facilities. What bothered her was Hook’s tone of voice. He sounded like… like…
The murderous tension in her shoulders bleeds out and the thrum of thrusters died down. Against every instinct to pull away, Skystrike keeps her arms outstretched even as her hands convulsed, back bowing under the pain. It was all she could do to stop herself from screaming when Hook finally wrenched the arm gun free of its socket.

Medical is always so fascinating. Counterpunch really needs to come up with excuses to hang out here more often.
Oh, wait. There's the regular attacks on other Decepticons for petty, possibly imagined, insults. So Counterpunch has got that covered - he'll just need to memorize the duty-medic rosters.
The spy sits back where he's been told to stay, arms crossed, leaning against a wall, and generally radiating 'surly,' but says nothing to all the goings on. He'll have to be careful about Hook - as careful as he can without blowing his cover. It's not so much the damage that Hook does to his patients when he's angry that worries Counterpunch. Counterpunch is used enough to pain. No, he's concerned with the idea of Hook being the one to repair it afterwards.
Many people try Hook's patience, but Counterpunch plans to try not to be his patient.

And Eye-Fire internally breathes a sigh of relief as it begins to look like Skystrike will in fact not be fighting back.
He can go back to worrying about if Starfighter is doing the repairs properly. ___________________________

And Starfighter has finished his repairs! He backs off again, setting his tools down and looking for a cleaning cloth. "I think you're done," he comments quietly, not nearly as forceful as Hook would be.

It's always gratifying when the patients stopped making aggression displays at you and just accepted that it was your way or the highway.
His voice is low, coaxing. Surely she can give him a useful answer; he just wants to help her, after all. "Now, Skystrike, are you in pain?"
