Hook draws his hands closer to himself as Kup speaks to him, bringing Scourge closer to him than the locust might appreciate. It's an unconscious shielding gesture, though whether Hook is shielding himself or Scourge cannot be said.
"Oh. Yes. Thank you." Hook shrinks a bit more behind Grimlock. "Thank you," he repeats.
He tilts his head down towards Scourge. "It's good to see you as well. I-" He should probably not ask about important operational details while with these Autobots. Yet they are allies. Yet allies are not the same as comrades. "I have much to say and much to hear. And-"
"They have a Mixmaster, Scourge!" It bursts from Hook, that thought of mingled hope and dread that has been hounding him since he saw the other mechanism at the fiendish victory party.
Do his own Decepticons have a Mixmaster?

Feeling much more grounded and driven by his rapidly increasing curiosity, Spy Shot unfolds and stands, peering around intently once more.
He nods in response to Perceptor's inquiry. "I am alright."
The camera-bot takes a moment to stare down Kup, nodding again to confirm his willingness to answer anything anything asked. "Questions."
Not really understanding or interested in the other conversation going on around him, he proceeds to shift about on Grimlock's massive hand to get a better look at his surroundings.

"Grimlock," Kup chides lightly, "the name 'Scourge' gets used over different realities. Our Scourge doesn't look like that, either." He nods towards Scourge. "This one seems to be from their version of Airazor, Rattrap, and Botanica's world. We'll want to keep an eye out for a double in our own 'Cons, actually."
"He's here to pick up Hook, and lead them back to wherever they've been holed up," the elder adds, although that should be pretty obvious.
Kup studies the tiny Transformer in Grimlock's hand. Then he cups his own hands together and holds them out, offering Spy Shot 6 a new roost, one that'll make it easier if Grimlock and Perceptor decide to return to base before they're done with their interview.
"Yeah, questions. Got a few," Kup explains.

Hook's lot has not been a pleasant one. A little extra closeness is no so horrible a cost to pay now. Scourge knows Hook won't accidentally crush him.
He nods as Hook speaks. There will indeed be much catching up to do.
"A Mixmaster..." Scourge looks up at Hook. There are no words for Scourge to speak, here. His eyes show understanding.
Kup's words grab his attention, and Scourge turns. "If my double possesses the same base knowledge and skill set as I do, and these Decepticons are as depraved as I am told... The breach of medical ethics turns my spark to ice." A shudder runs through his frame.

Grimlock blinks a bit at Kup, shown via optic-flickers. Then he straightens up! "Me Grimlock remember now. Me almost forget about Scourge back home..."
Grimlock then moves his hand holding Spy Shot 6 over to Kup's cupped hands, carefully sliding the camera over into the elder's hand. Hopefully, it doesn't jar or bother the camerabot too much. "Me Grimlock say Perceptor right. Him Kup good 'bot - him take good care of new 'bots. Him also tell good stories!"
Then he picks up the dead Nightbeat, tucking him under one arm. "Me ready when Perceptor ready."

Perceptor offers a small smile of sympathetic compassion to the alternate Decepticons; to have even the small illusion of home such as they had developed here on Gillanan III ripped and held away for so long... The Autobot scientist shakes his head, completely forgetting that the same thing has happened to he and his own Autobots after the ambush and attack.
"We will see you again soon, Spy Shot," Perceptor observes, adding to Hook," If you require anything from me, simply name your rendezvous point and I will be happy to meet you there. And, once again... Thank you. Very much."
"Kup, with your permission?" Perceptor asks, nodding toward the corpse. Provided that Kup - or anyone else, for that matter - makes no move to stop him, Perceptor heads off, intending to make his meandering way to an entrance not so adjacent to the Temple to get these new components to Medical.
If he's lucky, Botanica won't be anywhere nearby to catch him in such a worn down state, too.

Hook's face falls as Scourge does not reveal that there his own Mixmaster has appeared. Hope gutters momentarily.
Perhaps, perhaps his Mixmaster appeared after his own Decepticons crossed over. He clings to that hope, pushing aside worries about how parallel this world and his own truly run. Mixmaster!
"We should go," he says to both Scourge and the strange Perceptor. "I- have work to do." People to reunite with. Questions to ask and answer.
He steps away from the Dinobot, raising Scourge to one of the flat platforms on his shoulders. When the locust settles there, Hook hefts the block of crystal to his other shoulder. It looks unwieldy - Constructicons, even this one, are not inherently graceful mechs.
"I will inform you when I am finished with the lenses."

Spy Shot doesn't mind being ushered from one perch to another, and takes the opportunity to compare Kup's hands to those of Perceptor and Grimlock.
Looking up at his name, he watches Perceptor and the others make to leave and waves at them. "Goodbye."
Farewells seen to, the camera-bot turns to stare intently up at Kup with curious red optics.

Kup finally notices the dead Nightbeat that Grimlock is carrying around. He frowns, and gestures to the thing with whatever hand Spy Shot isn't standing on. "You guys might want to mention that to Emirate Xaaron. Maybe Nightbeat, too." He then turns to focus on the teeeeeny tiny robot in his other hand, letting Scourge deal with getting Hook where he needs to go.
"Well, erm... how about lets start with name and background. Once I get that much, we'll go from there."

Scourge nods. "Indeed we should." He settles himself on Hook's shoulder-plate, gazing into the distance with unfocused eyes. "Indeed, there is much to be done. After we get you settled in, I feel I need to look into this matter of my counterpart."

"Of course me Grimlock show Nightbeat. Me Grimlock think this one make better room-mate, not complain so much..."
With that, Grimlock wanders off with Perceptor.

Hook heads off towards the Decepticon encampment. Or, rather, he heads off in a semi-random direction that isn't the same way Perceptor is going and hopes Scourge will tell him the right way to go before they reach the ocean.

"My name is Spy Shot 6," the camera-bot replies, then pauses for awhile as he debates the meanings of the word 'background' with himself. While his mind is inclined to jump to the visual and physical definitions first, it seems more likely that Kup is asking about his previous experience or training. But he has years of that sort of background that he could talk about...
After another few moments of thought, Spy Shot proceeds to tell Kup everything about his past and arrival that he has related to Perceptor and the others, nothing less, nothing more.

During the course of the story, Kup, holding Spy Shot 6 in one hand, settles down to listen. He frowns in thought and faint irritation at what he hears. For one thing, it takes a little effort to translate the things Spy Shot 6 describes into something more understandable, thanks to Spy Shot's very limited life experiences.
Also irritating, however, is the fact that Kup has very little in the way of comparative experience here, and Kup hates not having much in the way of comparative experience.
Of course, the more Kup thinks about it, the more he's reminded that he's not entirely running blind here. After all, there was old Blastshield... build-line descendant of some of their original 'product line' who had been sold off-planet, raised to think of himself as a thing belonging to someone else, ran away when his encounter with later Cybertronians sparked ideas of a life that meant more in his head, rebuilt as a full Transformer and then indoctrinated into the Autobots by none other than Kup...
Actually, come to think of it, Kup's not flying blind at all. He's just got a very, very small Blastshield on his hands. Quite literally.
With that comparison in mind, Kup nods his head and forges onward. "All right. Thank you. Well, then... let me ask you a few more questions. Any skills or abilities that you'd mark as, well, special to you? I know you're not working with much of a basis comparison, but hey, even comparing yourself to the humans will help. I know a bit about them." He pauses. "Also, can you scan new modes, like Bumblebee and the others can?" Most of those other guys don't seem to remember being 'sparked.' Is the mode scanning something they're 'born' with, something they have to learn, or something that gets built in later? It's worth finding out, to the security officer.

Spy Shot takes a moment to contemplate his abilities, comparing himself first to what he has observed about humans and then cross referencing differing abilities with what little he knows about Autobots.
His head tilts from side to side as he thinks, finally coming up with: "I can make light. I can run and hide and the humans can't find me. I can remember."
The inability of humans to frequently misplace objects had confused him until he realized that they simply couldn't remember everything they did. What a surprising revelation that had been!
As for Kup's other question, Spy Shot has no clue. Scan new modes? Could he change from a camera into something else? It didn't occur to him yet that he might change from a robot into something other than a camera. So he merely shrugs in response.
