"Boss-Bot!" The yell is deafening as Bulkhead sees Optimus enters the room. There is a mighty clanging as Bulkhead lumbers forward, opening his arms for a welcome hug. "Good to see ya, sir, I was startin' to get a little paniced!"
Bulkhead wonders idly who this Springer fellow is and hope he is as informal is the leader Prime who is only second in command. You see his confusion here, yes?
"A tour?" There is a note of genuine excitement in Bulkhead's voice. "Lead the way! I may as well see where we've ended up."
Bulkhead eyes the door with trepidation, will he need to squeeze to get through? The terminal that Arcee has so recently vacated takes a clonking from Bulkhead's aft as he makes his way to fall in behind Optimus. "Ooops, sorry. I'm sure that it can be straightened up and the dent buffed out." He says, sheepishly.

"I'd be happy to give Bulkhead the tour, and more than happy to vouch for him," Optimus replies to Arcee.
The young Prime hugs Bulkhead back, patting the larger robot on the back and silently hoping the glass in his windshield chest survives the big green guy's enthusiasm. He also hopes the hug doesn't last too long. He doesn't want to be embarrassed in front of Rodimus Prime!
"It'd be a long tour. The Event Horizon is a lot bigger than our repair scow back home. It's even bigger than the Steelhaven. We'll just hit the high points so you know your way around."

Bulkhead can certainly get through the door! The Event Horizon is designed with some larger folk in mind, like Skyfire and Grimlock.
"Don't worry about it Bulkhead. This room gets beaten up pretty regularly," Arcee says.
"You good with them heading out Rodimus?" That will leave him and Arcee alone again. Can the Prime bear up under such a strain?
OOC: If it's good with everyone else, Rodimus and Arcee can be faded out of scene when Bulkhead and Optimus leave the room.

Rodimus would find it rather awkward if he knew that Optimus Prime is worried about embarrassing himself around Rodimus, but then, Rodimus finds dealing with a younger, more inexperienced Optimus to be a bit awkward, anyway!
The Boy Prime takes some interest as Optimus mentions the ship names. "Steelhaven? You didn't mention that you had a Steelhaven!" he exclaims, and then he grins and waves his hand absently. "But I guess you can tell me about that later. You two have got some catching up to do." He inclines his head towards Bulkhead. "Welcome aboard, Bulkhead!"
OOC: I'm good with that, Arcee.

Bulkhead shakes his head to clear the glitch in his optical matrix. Of course he can fit through the doors, what was he thinking. Must be a side effect of his method of arrival.
He gently (well, Bulkhead-gently), places Optimus back on the floor as he releases the hug, catching his commander's embarrassed glance at Rodimus. "Sorry" Bulkhead whispers in a loud voice, "Didn't mean to make ya look foolish in front of the brass!" One optic flashes off in a comradely, wink. Yes, comradely is a word.
Hands waving excitedly, Bulkhead makes ready to follow wherever he is led. "Well, nice to meet you folks, you two have fun!" An off the cuff remark, made by an oblivious bot, not at all meaning to make the air between Arcee and Rodimus in any way awkward.
Bulkhead swings a salute to Rodimus, quickly dropping it when he remembers he is supposed to be at ease, nods cheerily at Arcee and follows Optimus, a grin spreading across his face as he prepares to take in this new, huge ship.

"Not much to tell. The Steelhaven is the Elite Guard flagship back home. Ultra Magnus usually captains it himself," the little Prime says to the big one. Voice low, he adds, "Don't worry about it, Bulkhead."
"I guess I'll show you the personnel sections first, and then we'll move on from there."

"Personnel? How many we got here with us anyway?" It's starting to dawn on Bulkhead just how different this place is. Back home, he was part of a small crew, how will he cope if there are dozens here? Hundreds? Thousands? He shakes his head to clear the logic loop and forces a grin, he guesses he will just have to make some new friends!

"Now that you're here, I think the grand total is forty-nine on the Event Horizon. There are more back on Gillanan III, which is the planet everyone was on when this whole mess started." A few days later, Rev will make it an even fifty. "There are Decepticons here too, and their numbers are comparable to ours. Many of our friends here are more than a match for a Decepticon one-on-one though."
Optimus leads Bulkhead down the corridors, showing him where the crew quarters are, before eventually leading him to the mess hall. "Once you're cleared through security, you should read the database. Some of the files that Kup posted are particularly useful. 'What's Going on, And Events Here' explains a lot, and so does 'The Reality List.'" Optimus pauses. "You should probably also watch 'Unicron Broadcast from Gillanan' when you get the chance, but I'd get settled in first. Rodimus and Arcee gave you the basic run-down right? Oh, speaking of which, what's your last timestamp from before you showed up here?"

Bulkhead follows Optimus through the corridors and walkways of the Event Horizon, sheepishly waving to any new faces that he passes. "Guys here go toe to toe with the Decepticons? Wow, there must be a lot of Elite Guard material bots on this ship!" Bulkhead grabs a pen and pad from his chest compartment and starts jotting down the database entries he needs to read. "Yeah, the guys in that wierd rocky room told me a few things. Last I remember, we were back on Earth. I think Sari said the date was <some time between Survival of the Fittest and Headmaster>. Bulkhead's optics dim slightly at the mention of his friend's name. "We ain't going home, are we Boss-Bot?" he asks quietly. OOC: Just realised I screwed up my timeline in my app. Bulkhead learns art during the episode Headmaster, so I got taken after the art, but before the Headmaster!

Optimus chuckles. "It has less to do with skill, and more to do with the fact that Autobots apparently tend to be just as big and heavily armed as Decepticons. Ours seems to be the odd reality out." He punches up a pair of energon cubes and hands one to Bulkhead, before realizing what he just said. "Not that the Autobots here aren't competent, because they are!"
He nods when Bulkhead tells him where he was drawn from. "You're megacycles ahead of me."
Optimus sighs at his friend's last question. "I don't know, Bulkhead. I'd like to think we'll find a way to get everyone back home eventually, but for now we're stuck here."

Bulkhead is from Optimus's future? "I don't remember you going anywhere. Where are you from? Why do I get the feeling this place is gonna get a lot weirder before it starts making any kind of sense." he says, glumly.
Bulkhead takes the proffered cube, downing it to hide the leak of optical fluid trickling from his eye. Poor Sari, she is going to get in so much trouble without him there to watch her. Not to mention Bumblebee.
"So, what do I need to know for this interview thing, boss?" he asks "I don't exactly have uch to offer to a freaky-deaky time travelling situation, I break stuff for a living!" For a living. By accident. It's a way of life!

"The, uh, current theory is that every gets pulled from slightly different universes. Like, you're from the universe that's exactly like mine except I'm not missing from it. Or we all get put back at the exact moment we disappeared, or something. I got pulled from [Transform and Roll Out, before he's killed by Starscream]."
Optimus doesn't notice Bulkhead's tear, (He must have picked that trick up from the humans) but he is pretty decent at reading his crews' moods. He reaches up to put a servo on the larger mech's shoulder and looks him in the optics. "I know it's strange, Bulkhead, but the Autobots here are good people. Er, and the Maximals and Mini-con. I promise you we'll all get home some day. But right now we've got a job to do here." And as soon as we figure out what the heck it is, MAN are we gonna do it!
"Don't worry too much about the interview. They're just going to want to know where you're from and what you're good at."

Bulkhead takes in Optimus's warm, genuine expression and pulls himself together. "Sorry boss, it's all just... ya know..." He stands up straight (taking out a light fitting on a nearby wall with a shoulder guard), and forces a grin across his face. "If you say we're good, we're good!" He pulls another cube (extra large) from wherever Optimus pulled one before and drinks up, offering one to his commander. "Errr, whats a Mini-Max?"

"No thanks," Optimus says, holding up a servo to refuse the cube. "My tanks are topped off."
"Maximals are Autobot descendants from another reality. They're very small and fuel efficient and they have organic alternate modes. We've only got one Mini-con, Makeshift. He's from yet another reality and also tiny." Both the concepts of organic alternate modes and temporary upgrades bring up unpleasant memories, but Optimus tries not to let it show in his expression.
He rubs the back of his head self-consciously. "I guess that sounds pretty strange when I say it out loud. I've just gotten so used to seeing them around the ship it's like they're normal Autobots. Not that they're not normal! They're just . . . different."

"You sure you don't want it?" Bulkhead replies, chugging the unwanted cube. No point letting it go to waste!
Optimus's words flow in one audio processor and out the other as he describes more multiple realities and different flavours of Autobot. A glazed look settles on Bulkhead's face, somewhat of a default expression I know, but fitting.
Organic transformers? Sentinel Prime would surely find that... icky! "Sounds like I'm gonna need to be careful where I step. I don't want to end up squishing a little organic bot!"
Different folks are something Bulkhead can handle. Reality may be bifurcating and twisting at the seams, but people are people wherever you go. "Plenty of new friends here, by the sounds of it."
Thoughts of his friends back home run through his CPU when he says this. He is determined not to let Optimus down while they are stuck here, but he misses his friends already. Even Ratchet, crotchety old geezer that he is. The last thing Bulkhead wants is to be lonely out here.
