//I hope Bulkhead wasn't too bad. You know how Sentinel is about grudges.// Elita-1 says privately to Optimus.
She vaults the couch and lands lightly on the other side.
"So, I gather you're getting a tour. You showed him the sim room yet, Optimus?" Elita smiles up at Bulkhead, "It's an amazing bit of technology!"

"Ah, my training was the best bunch o cycles of my life, Optimus, even if we did get into the occasional scrape! It made me into the bot I am today!" Bulkhead grins, proudly. How could anyone hold a grudge against this honest, open face! "I'm an Autobot cog in machined greatness! Or something." The propoganda often washed over him somewhat, he was there for the career oppourtunities!
Bulkhead steps back with a loud clang on the deckplates as Elita-1 hops over the couch. Watching someone manage a move like that so gracefully startles him a little. Last time Bulkhead tried something like that, he put his foot through the concrete floor.
"Sim room? Amazing tech? Sounds fun, what does it involve?" Hopefully it's not amazing tech in the 'small and fiddly' sense. Sari is still mad that Bulkhead broke her Xbox720.

//If I know my crew, Bumblebee was the instigator and Bulkhead just went along with whatever they were doing. Either that or Bulkhead broke something by accident,// Optimus transmits back to Elita.
"So you preferred boot camp with Sentinel to repairing space bridges with Bumblebee, Ratchet, and me, did you, Bulkhead?" the Prime asks teasingly. He feels more at home now than he has in a long time. With Elita-1 here, and Bulkhead being his lovable dorky self, he can almost pretend he's a young 'bot back in the Academy, before everything got complicated and the weight of the world was on his shoulders (up next to the lights).
"You just program in the parameters of the simulation of the room projects hard light holograms. I'm not entirely sure how it works myself, but it's pretty easy to use."

Elita arches a browridge at Optimus.
//Does he do that a lot? Break things by accident, I mean?//
She can't help but grin at Bulkhead's enthusiasm though. "Bulkhead, if being under Sentinel was the best time of your life, then I have to wonder about you," she teases, "Sentinel's one of my dearest friends, but he's really, really hard to deal with when he's got power in his hands."
"But anyway- to the sim room, yes?" Elita-1 automatically moves up and tries to link arms with Optimus for the walk.
OOC: Shall we skip to the sim room on either Bulkhead or Optimus's post?

OOC: Skip is good by me. Lead the way, Prime!
Is Bulkhead being teased? He's never sure about those sort of things.
"The Academy was great! The combat practice, the Autobot Code lessons, pulling a great duty roster assignment! It sure as heck beat dredging up energon on the farm back home." Theres nothing like seeing the past through rose-tinted optics.
"This Sim room sounds like fun, you better show me how it works, I'm not really the bot to mash buttons and work it out on my own." he grins, sheepishly.

//More often than you'd think.//
Optimus lets Elita link arms with him. It feels natural. He only lets go when they actually arrive at the sim room a short time later.
"This is the hard light simulation room," the Prime explains. "You just use the keypad here to program in the parameters of the simulation, or to call up one of the preprogrammed scenarios. You can also interface directly with the computer or use voice commands," in case you have huge wrecking ball mitts. "The chamber creates a simulation indistinguishable from reality, except that if you get wounded or deactivated, you don't actually take damage."

//Engineering is going to flip if they have to assign someone to repair in his wake even semi-permanently.// //Oh um... I'm sorry. For storming off on you the other day.// "Yep!" Elita-1 says cheerily, "No hands required. That's so folks like Omega Supreme and Makeshift can still train if they want. Computer, start simulation E1-26B, sans opponents please." What? Why shouldn't she be polite to it? The room brings up a a recreation of a ornately decorated temple room with an altar in the center. Elita fingers the gloves on her hands again, fidgeting. "See? You can program in most anything. Computer, switch to observation display SP28616. Thank you." The room changes to a flat metal plain, but with very familiar (to Animated bots anyway) display of constellations overhead. "Good way to get over homesickness," she says softly.

Skipping Bulkhead due to time-out.
//He's not really that bad. He's just got a really big chassis built for demolition and he's uncomfortable about it sometimes. And . . . it's alright. Don't worry about it.//
Optimus looks around politely at the first simulation, then brightens up a little at the second. "It is good for that. Though the Event Horizon is our home for the time being," he replies, reaching to put a comforting hand on Elita's shoulder.
