"I don't know. Why would you?" In Hook's memories, it was more getting over-rough than actually deliberate torment. It was just, unfortunately, such a frequent occurrence with Bonecrusher that the crane generally kept medical supplies close at hand when he expected the bulldozer.
The Construction sets a fingertip underneath one of the blades of Spinister's tail-rotor and carefully pushes it through a full rotation. Once that is checked, he gently begins to strip the armor from Spinister's tail-boom, mindful of the gear boxes and drive shaft. "Most helicopters' blades do."

"I wouldn't," Spinister insists, perhaps sulking a bit. Waste of materials and waste of time for the medics. Also, he would have a pouting Needlenose on his hands. Does he need a pouting Needlenose? No.
Having his tail rotor pushed around makes his servos whine, and he can't say the feeling is thrilling, but he endures it without a peep. It's just a medical exam. The fact that he's in no shape for combat is no reason to get worried, right?
He admits, "Mine are particularly weak." Carbon-fibre composite blend. Good for sound damping. Not as structurally stable, though.

Hook ignores Spinister's insistence that he wouldn't break Needlenose's fingers. Of course the helicopter wouldn't.
"Interesting," is Hook's only comment as he continues the delicate process of inserting the file and triggering the latches on individual plates of the tail-boom. He is careful, of course, oh-so careful; helicopters are delicate pieces of equipment. He is also painstakingly precise; where another medic might brush tantalizingly against exposed wires, the Constructicon barely flickers against them.
At last, the tail-boom is exposed. "Lie still while I scan you."

Spinister is as still as the grave. He doesn't even twitch at Hook's light brushes. While he appreciates that Hook isn't being overly pokey, Spinister can handle torture. He's okay with a doctor's visit. Really.
He's just wondering where to hide the body if Hook figures it out. Granted, Spinister is pretty sure he can't get away with killing Hook. He'd have to frame someone.
Deep down, though, he knows that killing a fellow Decepticon, just because the idea of pulling shifts in medical annoys Spinister, is probably not justified. Please Hook, just this once, don't be smart?

Once the scan is complete, Hook steps away to tell the computer to start delayering this set of information. He also finds the first scan-delayer is whining at him because of all the weird things in Spinister's body.
Irritably, he jabs a finger hard against the screen as he orders it to break down what it can. The rest of it he can do by hand once all of the other scans are taken and sorted through. There, in fact, are several people's he had to set aside to personally sort through and lay out their schematics in a reasonably intelligible way. It was one of the curses of non-standard designs and upgrades.
"Turn over on your side, Spinister."

Spinister flicks his main rotor blades in closer, so that he won't snap a tip when he rolls over, Spinister does so carefully, because he does have a lot of exposed, sensitive wiring. Being able to handle pain does not correlate to a desire to experience it.
Idly, he asks, "Gotten to Barricade, Frenzy, or Wreckage yet?"

"Yes." With great effort and threats.
Hook carefully spreads Spinister's main rotor blades, then grasps the tail-boom and lifts it on its main hinge until it rises behind Spinister's head. He doesn't manually transform Spinister all the way; just enough to expose the helicopter's back. Then out comes the file again as he unlatches the armor there.

Spinister lets out a low whistle. He's impressed. Looks like he'll have to take a look at the medical files again.
Being partially transformed against his will is a distinctly uncomfortable feeling, and being so while missing much of his armour makes it even worse.
His Nebulans are pointedly not watching, and Spinister notes, It's not like being missing your clothing. It's like missing your skin.
His Nebulans find that extremely comforting, he's sure.

As soon as Spinister's back is uncovered, Hook wraps his hand around the wrist of the helicopter's arm that is not underneath him and lifts it up. He presses Spinister's hand against his shoulder until the helicopter holds it there of his own, then begins to work on unlatching the side armor and chest plates.

Spinister is not a rag doll. He is quite capable of following verbal commands, such as 'put your hand on my shoulder'. The only sign of his irritation is an ever so suble flick of his rotor blades. Must not tell the medic how to do his job. Must not tell the medic how to do his job.
Spinister's touch on Hook's shoulder is light, and he keeps his fingers near the edge of Hook's shoulder, away from the Constructicon's neck. He does not drum his fingers or anything irritating like that.

As soon as Spinister's side and chest armor is stripped off and the pieces laid out, Hook issues some more instructions. "I will need to take two scans. Place your hand on the table in front of your face for the first one. Put it behind your back for the second."

Ah, so Hook no longer has to endure Spinister's fingers on his shoulder, those strangler's fingers when he is angry, those sniper's fingers when he is calm.
He easily complies, moving into the first position for the one scan and the second position for the other.
The plans are accurate. Will Hook consider all the tedium of unlatching Spinister's armour to have been a waste of time, once he satisfies himself that they are?

Verification is never a waste of time. Better to take the time and know than to fret over potential inaccuracies.
Hook puts the file away and selects a set of needles. Then he crouches in front of Spinister and begins to work the needles into seams of Spinister's face.
This might feel peculiar.

There are needles being worked into Spinister's face. He's oddly detached about this. He has a mask, so he doesn't have as much of a face as most people do. Spinister also possess no vanity about his looks.
His Nebulans are totally not feeling too keen about what Hook would want to do them, however.

Hook is well aware that you don't remove a human-like organic's skin with needles.
Well, not if you want to put it back on.
For reasons that seem to largely come down to "it's traditional", the latches on the facial plates are finer and more difficult to manipulate than most other armor latches. So the Constructicon uses fine tools to unlatch the Mayhem's facial armor.
Done with the needles, Hook drives them into one of his cheek-seams, catching them between bits of wire so they don't go sliding about. He presses his fingertips against Spinister's mask, shifts just a bit to get traction, then carefully removes the metal. He's mindful of the Mayhem's optics, as he's left them online in the impression that it's probably more comfortable to see what Hook is doing than to be blind.
"I'm going to completely uncover your cranium and take scans. Then I will replace your facial and chest-armor."
